Puzzle fun for kids in Brig
Solve puzzles, explore and win together: in our outdoor escape game ‘Magic Portal’, Brig’s car-free old town around the Stockalper Palace becomes the playing field. Equipped with an iPad, an action pack and augmented reality, the kids set off in teams to seal the magic portal.
Ideal for birthday parties and children’s groups aged 8 to 12. We’re on site throughout the entire event and adapt the game to the children’s age.
When booking, please enter the children’s ages in the info field and let us know whether you’re celebrating a birthday. If so, please include the birthday child’s name too. That way, we can make sure everyone has the best possible experience.
The Story
Long ago, the world of humans and the world of magical creatures were connected by magic portals. But after monsters brought chaos into the human world, powerful wizards closed the portals. Ever since, each portal has been guarded by a clever goblin, the portal guardian.
But a spell sent the goblin into a deep sleep and opened the portal once again. Now that the monsters are wreaking havoc in the human world once more, everyone is hoping for fearless heroes to seal the portal and save the world.
What to expect
Action Pack & AR
Each group receives an iPad, a music box and an action pack with everything they need. The digital and real worlds merge into an exciting adventure, and along the way the kids take photos on the iPad as a keepsake.
Dynamic Route
Teamwork in Small Groups
The children play in small teams of up to 6. This way, every child can join in, show their strengths and solve tricky puzzles together with the others. Fun, team spirit and togetherness come first.
Live-Operator
We follow the game in real time and always know where the groups are and how far they’ve got. The kids can message us directly via chat to ask questions or request help, so we can respond straight away and keep everything running smoothly.
Event Schedule
Welcome & Briefing
We’ll welcome you on Sebastiansplatz in Brig, divide everyone into groups and introduce the kids to the game.
The Adventure Begins
The groups set off on the roughly 120-minute game, and we’re on site the whole time. As we don’t know the children personally, one accompanying adult stays in Brig. In the meantime, they can sit back with a coffee and enjoy the break.
Ice Cream Break (optional)
On request, we’ll take an ice cream break halfway through the game at Gelateria Vorrei on Sebastiansplatz. The ice cream is paid for separately on site.
Craft Station (optional)
On request, we’ll include a craft station in the palace garden as part of the game. You bring the materials, and we’ll supervise the station, or you can run it yourselves as accompanying adults.
Award Ceremony
At the end, the results are announced and the winning group is celebrated. The winners receive a certificate as a souvenir of the adventure. And of course, the birthday child gets a little surprise too, for a perfect day all round!
FAQ's
The game is suitable for children aged 8 to 12. We adapt the puzzles to the age of the group.
Younger adventurers are of course welcome to tag along free of charge.
Around 120 minutes. On request, we can adjust the length of the game so there’s plenty of time left for cake and presents.
Simply book through our booking calendar. Choose your preferred date, start time and number of children, and your adventure is reserved.
We’ll welcome you in Brig and introduce the kids to the game. Then the teams set off, while we stay on site and follow everything live. Finally, there’s the award ceremony.
Weatherproof clothing, sturdy shoes and something to drink. If you choose the craft station, please bring the materials, and some money for the ice cream break. We provide the iPad and action pack.
Payment is made directly when booking, by TWINT or card. For the optional ice cream break, you pay for the ice cream on site at the gelateria.
The game is available in German, French, English and Italian, with other languages on request. It can also be run in several languages, as long as each group plays in a single language. When booking, please enter in the info field how many people would like to play in which language.
